Museo Ferrari in Maranello
The official Ferrari museum, which has been completely refurbished and extended, offers an amazing insight into the world of Ferrari where the classic cars and history are a pretext for getting to know today’s models and their Formula One content and technology. As well as important, memorable cars, this insight comes in the form of big screens and videos, the possibility to become a Formula 1 driver on board of a semi-professional simulator and an extensive range of publications and memorabilia of the marque’s history.
Museo Ferrari is divided into several areas: a permanent area with the Victory Hall where all the Ferrari World Champion cars from 1999 to the present and the trophies and feats of the World Champion Drivers are on display. There is also a section dedicated to Formula 1 with the historical cars as well as the “pitwall”, where you can see how the engineers work during a Grand Prix. The Museo also has a Cinema that shows extraordinary unique films.
In the wide temporary exhibition area, a big exhibition on Ferrari Supercars, that presents the Special Series models from the 250 GTO to the recently launched LaFerrari, is currently being held.
As well as visiting the Museo, visitors can book a shuttle guided tour and discover the Fiorano racing track and the avenues that run through the factory.
The Museo is open all year round except for Christmas Day and New Year and, on request, every evening for visits, dinners and private events.
With the opening of a new wing in May, the Museum will also have a spacious Convention Hall and a new exhibition area.
